Last weekend, I had a baby shower for my friend Amy. Amy and her husband are expecting a baby girl in early January.
I wanted the baby shower to be unique and special, so I gave it a few personal touches.
For the silverware, I rolled pink forks and knives in sweet mother to be napkins. To keep things together, I pinned the end of the napkin with a tiny pink clothes-pin. I also bought giant baby bottles to place throughout the house.
Draping over the mantle, were three pink onezies joined together by twine.
Draping from my chandler were cute little scratch mittens. I think scratch mittens are the sweetest things ever! Under the chandelier were homemade yellow cupcakes with pink frosting. Thank you to my fiance' for his assistance!

For the game I cut out pictures of 10 celebrity babies, and guests were asked to grab a piece of paper and guess the celebrity mom. If I hadn’t put together the game, I think I would have rocked the contest. I’m a huge US Weekly and People Magazine junky.
For the most part, it was a very successful party! The food was delicious, the company was engaging and I think in general, everyone had a good time.

You're the best and I can't wait to return the favor when you and J have some little munchkins of your own someday! :)
