Why do I live in Minnesota?

I often ask myself, why the heck do I live in Minnesota? Some of the answers that come to mind are the following:

1. Because I was born and raised here.
2. Because my family and friends live here.
3. Because the mid-west is in my comfort zone.
4. Because of the 4 distinct seasons.

Fall is probably is one of my favorite seasons (besides spring). The colors of the leaves and bushes are simply breathtaking. A couple of weekends ago, my cousin Chris and I drove along the banks of the Mississippi River in St. Paul and took a few pictures. The view was amazing.

With all that’s going on in the world right now, I think it’s important to actually look around and appreciate the good things around us.
