I don’t watch soaps, but when I did (in college); my loyalty for Days of Our Lives was steadfast. According to this article, NBC had to let go of John and Marlena. John and Marlena happen to be the two main characters that have been on the show since the beginning of time.
Obviously since I work during the day and don’t have DVR or Soap Net, I can’t catch Days of Our Lives; however, I’m still sad about this news. I guess it’s one more sign that the declining economy is affecting everyone---including my beloved soaps.

I do watch this soap on and off (usually on tape at night). I do hope that this isn't so.

I'm a Days fanatic (sad but true) and yea, I heard that too! I hate to see her go. It doesn't seem right without her..or Steve and Kayla or Bo and Hope.
