CURRENTLY 19° F
This is downright ridiculous. I’m looking out the window and the sun is shinning and the sky is blue. The scene, warm and welcoming is unfortunately, misleading.
I just checked my local forecast and it’s a balmy 19 degrees. Yes, 19 degrees. While I expect this temperature to be common in January and February, it’s not normal for mid-November. I’m freezing and all I can think about is vacation---which isn’t scheduled to happen until March.
Sometimes I don’t think I was meant to live here. I swear I’m destined to live in a warmer climate. I don’t want to live somewhere that’s super warm (like Florida), but somewhere more reasonable---somewhere where I don’t need to bundle up every time I walk out the door; somewhere where I don’t need to have my car warm up for 5 minutes before I even think of driving anywhere; somewhere were I don’t get frostbit if I have exposed skin.
For now, I’ll have to deal. I can wear warm fashionable scarves, gloves, hats, etc. And thanks to inventions like this:
I can warm up my car, rather quickly. Thank you, BMW and your innovative steering wheel heater.

I realized I was destined for something warmer. Packed up my stuff in College Town, Midwest and Home Town, East Coast and moved my ass down to Georgia.
A steering wheel heater? Sweeeet!
Maybe I should trade in my Mercedes for a BMW!
