Let me start by prefacing that I love everything about Christmas. Actually that might be a sweeping statement, because I can’t stand the long lines at the checkout counters and it drives me crazy when I can’t find a parking spot at the mall. Another thing I can’t stand is when Christmas music plays before Thanksgiving. I don’t know why it bugs me, but it just does.A local radio station began playing Christmas music around the clock last week. I have the radio station set as item #6 in my car, so when I flip though the stations during my commute, I hear snippets of Christmas carols when I land on 102.9. It drives me crazy. I’m almost to the point where I might have to remove 102.9 from my set station list.
In my opinion, the day after Thanksgiving is fair game. That’s the day my parents decorate their house and when we really have Christmas on our minds. I think I’ll start decorating my house the day after Thanksgiving too. I’m still deciding if I want a real tree or a fake tree, but I do know I’ll be purchasing this tree skirt from Crate and Barrel within the next day or so.

Hmmmm...I have to admit, I love all things Christmas and am ready for Christmas music the second it gets cold outside. Since it has snowed a few times, in my book, it's Christmas season! :) But, to each her own...Scott doesn't like Christmas music unless it's pretty much Christmas Eve either. I did get him to agree to go to Manheim Steamroller with me on 12/19 though.
