I’m so happy its Friday! I live for the weekends.
Though we’ve had sub zero temperatures for the past 84 hours, there is an end in sight. We’re supposed to get above freezing sometime this afternoon---thank goodness!
This weekend is going to be crazy busy. Here’s what’s on tap:
1. Tonight - Going away party for my co-worker D (his guard unit is being deployed). The party should be fun! I’m excited for my co-workers to finally meet J.
2. Tomorrow – Running around doing errands---Home Depot, mail a care package to J’s little cousin who was in a sledding accident, look at rings, go to 4 o’clock mass, anniversary dinner.
3. Sunday – Possibly go skiing? We’ll see how the weekend shapes out. We might be too busy, so this might have to be put off until next weekend.
Okay, so in item #2 you may have noticed I casually mentioned a few interesting things.
This weekend, J and I are celebrating our one year anniversary! I’ve been calling it our “pseudo anniversary” because we weren’t really official and exclusive until March. After much deliberation, we’ve decided to use our first date in January as our anniversary date.
We have plans to dine at a fabulous restaurant downtown, Minneapolis.

***For family and friends that are reading this---we are NOT getting engaged this weekend. We are merely starting to look at rings.
