At 21, it was “What are you going to do when you graduate? My answer was, “who knows? I’ll see where my major takes me.”
At 25 it was, “When are you going to get married? My answer was, “who knows? I haven’t met him yet.”
Now that I’m approaching 30 (yikes), the question I hear most is “When are you going to have kids?” My answer “geez, slow down. I’m not even married yet!”
J and I are getting married in July. We’d like to be married for at least one year before we start “trying.” By the way, I hope J and I aren’t one of those couples that says “we’re trying.” I hate when people say that. Yuck.
Anyway, J and I know we’ll be blessed with some babies, maybe not right away, but someday! And until that time comes, I have no problem being a Aunt to these sweet little girls

awe...that is a sweet pic of your niece! You will do it when it is right for you!!! No one else. hubby and I got married and had our first 18 months later when I was 29. It worked well for us. It didn't matter what anyone else said! Congrats on gettin' married soon! Take your time!!!

What dolls! I agree that "we're trying" is so lame. Its personal. I also hate "We're preganat"...um I think the wife is the pregnant one! You could say "we are having a baby", because, yes you will both be parents of the child, but only the wife is preggers. My little rant for the day! Lol.
I'm so jealous you were in naples! We are hoping for a trip back in November and obviously I'll be there at Christmas. I was thinking of visiting my dad in July, but it will be SO hot! I don't know.
Oh how I hate those questions!! I am 27 and single and get that all the time. "Why aren't you married??? Um, I don't know...you tell me!!" Oh people.

What is with the 1 year mark?? When we got married we said we wanted to wait a year to have kids and pretty much everyone I know has said the same thing... I guess it is just the magic number ;-)
