I survived my 10-year reunion. It was….um, interesting. I think most everyone looks the same +/- a few pounds, myself included. It’s funny because I felt like I already knew what everyone was up to, thanks to facebook. Anyway, it was great to visit with old classmates, hear what they’ve been up to, and of course, seen how we’ve all matured.
Last weekend was quite a busy weekend. In addition to the 10-year reunion, J’s parents were in town. Since they were in town for the weekend, we thought it would be fun for them to meet my parents. I’m happy to report that the parents meeting the parents went off without a hitch. We had lots to talk about and they meshed really well!
This weekend nothing too crazy planned…expect seeing Backstreet Boys at the State Fair… Woohoo! I heart the State Fair! I plan on working out a lot today and tomorrow morning, so I can eat a couple of staple items (Sweet Martha cookies, fries, etc) and not feel too guilty.
Random tangent - I’m thankful that the Olympics are almost over. I need to get back to a normal sleeping schedule. I’ve been up until 12 a.m. watching swimming, gymnastics, track and field, etc. Go America! I still think we got robbed in the team gymnastics and think the IOC should look into the age of the Chinese gymnasts. No way are they 16.

Um HELL-OOOO Kathleen. I didn't get the memo that you started a blog!!!!!! Now that I know it, it will be bookmarked so you better get your act together and update it more often. Unless that violates the rules of the witness protection program. :)
PS - was that witty enough for you?
