Okay, I’m not crazy about this show, but I love that it includes some of the old characters. Many of my high-school Thursday evenings (until it switched to Wednesday) were spent watching the drama that surrounded unrealistic characters living in the most famous zip-code in the United States. My favorite characters were probably Brenda and Valerie, because they were the bizzo’s of the show.
Anyway, in comparison, the new show is super lame. I watched it the first two weeks and just couldn’t bear to watch it again. It’s trying to re-vamp a classic that doesn’t need to be re-vamped. The original is a staple and this 2.0 version isn’t coming anywhere close to the amazing show that the original was. Anyway, I don’t keep tabs on the Nielsen ratings, but I doubt many people are tuning in, because it’s a train wreck.
The above picture is homage to the original. It’s me looking at the 90210 beach house in Manhattan Beach, California. My friend Maggie literally lives a couple of blocks from the house…Lucky! It’s really on the ocean walk along the beach. Too bad a bunch of randoms live there. Needless to say, there weren’t any Brian Austin Green or Luke Perry sightings.
